The Intercultural Trainer

Intercultural Trainer

Tania Pellegrini

Tania Pellegrini is an Intercultural Trainer and Moderator  with 20 years experience in the field of communication and training. Her intercultural or cross-cultural training courses provide business people tools to understand, communicate and work effectively with people of diverse cultures.

Before starting up her own company, Culturelink, Tania held a number of roles in the international sports and media industry.  During her long-term assignments, in Brazil, Qatar, France, Japan, Korea, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa and Italy, Tania worked very closely with local nationals learning to adapt according to hidden cultural codes.  Her first-hand experience taught her how difficult it is to get your message across due to different cultural filters. This in turn, developed a sense for creating new techniques when managing culturally diverse teams.

As an intercultural trainer, Tania focuses firstly on helping individuals self assess themselves. Secondly, individuals analyse how people of other cultures might perceive them. Thirdly, the learners  create a strategy to be more effective in reaching their goals. Lastly, the individuals put into action what they have learnt and analyse what went well or what could be developed.

Amongst other roles, Tania worked most notably for Host Broadcast Services, where as Senior Training Manager, she focused on training international media experts soft skills such as teamwork and communication. See her posts which relate personal experiences.

Tania is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, Australia and can conduct training sessions in English, Italian, French and German.
