Country Navigator
Participants of the Cultural Intelligence workshops are given a 12 month or 1 month Country Navigator account where they can create their own cultural profile, read about how other cultures behave in business settings and most importantly compare themselves to their team mates or other cultures.
The Country Navigator Cultural Profile gives you insight into 9 dimensions that impact how business is generally achieved in almost 200 cultures. Dimensions profiled include three main areas:
Relating
How we manage our work with others
Regulating
How we interact with others
Reasoning
How we problem solve and present solutions
Intercultural Readiness Check
Are you ready for that next assignment? Is your multicultural team as highly effective as you believe it could be? Global team members need a global mindset. Culturelink can help you assess how effective you and your team are when dealing with people of other cultures. The Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC) assesses four competencies which can be trained and developed.
Intercultural Sensitivity
The degree to which a person takes an active interest in others, their cultural background, needs and perspectives.
Intercultural Communication
The degree to which a person actively monitors their own communicative behaviour.
Building Commitment
The degree to which a person actively influences the social environment, concerned with integrating different people and personalities.
Managing Uncertainty
The degree to which a person is able to manage the greater uncertainty of intercultural situations.
The IRC is an on-line assessment that only takes about 20 minutes to fill in. Individuals receive written feedback with suggestions for development. Tania Pellegrini is licensed to use the IRC and can complement and tailor any training workshop with an IRC assessment (www.irc-center.com).
